Research Grants
In 2008, the Center was awarded a 100 thousand PLN grant by the Ministry of Science to research board committees. The research project, titled Audit and remuneration committees: mechanisms for increasing supervisory board effectiveness was completed in 2010.
Research Topics
KoĽmiński Center for Corporate Governance brings together researchers interested in various aspects of corporate governance. Currently our research projects focus upon:
- efficiency of various corporate governance solutions
- balance between stakeholder interests
- social responsibility of entreprises
- links between corporate governance and economic efficiency
- use of soft law in corporations
- corporate governance models in theory of the firm
- new capital accord
- corporate governance in high-tech industries
